A background analysis of existing challenges, especially those in the youth-sensitive sector, reveals the contradiction between established expectations and new developments. The combination of the inclusive deficit left over from the formal education system and the structural prejudice of the labor market against the low-skilled population determines the worrying proportion of young people who are unemployed for a long time.

In the youth field, in line with the proposed European Youth Strategy 2019-2027, the project covers the following priorities:

  • Promoting the inclusion and employability of young people with fewer opportunities (including NEETs);

  • Facilitating the transition of young people from youth to adulthood, in particular their integration into the labour market;

  • Developing their skills, by establishing quality standards, ethical and professional codes.

The project aims to address this challenge through cooperation between countries affected by the massive unemployment of youth, specifically focusing on tapping the educational potential of personal development, rural needs analysis, storytelling, and ICT as a way to promote entrepreneurs Non-formal education approaches and specific methods of competence. In combination with NFE, it transforms from thinking to action in the field of social entrepreneurship among young people.

The project methodology will integrate the four identified methods of the entrepreneurial development process:

  1. Personal development, which is an activity that empowers young people and makes them aware of their possibilities and resources.

  2. Rural demand analysis, as a method to determine the needs of local grassroots communities, should be resolved through social entrepreneurial actions.

  3. Storytelling, as a tool to construct business ideas, establish clear and accurate logos of social enterprises and related plans/products, and promote internal cohesion by establishing defined business logos.

  4. ICT is a key area of expertise in the image of social entrepreneurs and direct entrepreneur participation.
